I agree... Lightning works well for me, for more privacy now, Fedimints and Liquid are new things I am exploring. Openess on chain, and L2-3 solutions for scaling and privacy appear to be the way forward.

Finally seeing folks in my small town starting to explore Bitcoin, but never met a known Monero bro, even when I lived in a city of 1.6 million. Have never seen a need for it or a use case that bitcoin doean't cover better or someone(s) in bitcoin space are working to cover. 😊
