Why phoenixd?

I run a LND over a start9 and it's quite easy to manage liquidity. I'm trying to understand the use case for automated liquidity management. I think it's an amazing tech, just not sure when to use it. 👅

And it is more expensive than the other options. Although to its credit, never has a failed route with phoenix or phoenixd

Because i have other things to do at the moment than manage channels. phoenixd just works and it's self custodial. ACINQ are doing amazing work and I'm happy to support them with the few sats they're charging for liquidity. Also, there are plans afoot.

I'll spin up a LND/CLN node again at some point and get back to channel hell.
