Anarchists would disagree with you, and IMHO they're damn right.

I think you have some reading to do to explore the other side of the argument, then it will be easier to make up your mind :)

Maybe start with people like Larken Rose on YouTube, if it's more convenient.

He will explain you why you don't need a government robbing you in order to build roads.

Thank you for engaging!

I will check out this information.

I have friends that are anarchists, but when we discuss what that world would look like, then their ideas go a bit flat and its turns out to be more of an ideal.

'Anarchists would disagree with you and they're right.'

Tax is 100% paying for part of the infrastructure of your existence right now. I think you mean that we could better self-organise in smaller communities, instead of being run by a class of government bureaucrats and lobbied career politician sucking out the life force and dictating the how and what?

With that I 100% agree. But even with anarchist self-organisation we would have to pitch in some of our earnings / added value. That is my point. Also we'd have to organise area wise, to not have the industrial anarchist upstream from the river we live on, just dump their waste. This list of things we have to cooperate on is almost endless.
