"Do you want a pheasant?"

"YES, PLEASE."

"Here."

"Oh. Thank you."

😬Wish me luck. I'm on it alone. Because I'm getting a turkey in a few hours too. This might be just a job for a homesteader, but for a city gal like me preparing this is HUGE.

It is a huge task, but you have a very good β€œhelper” in a yellow vest! πŸ˜†

Oh, he's in for it allπŸ˜€ When our landlord chops bones for hens, helper vacuums it allπŸ˜€ It feels like a dog and some chickens are essential thing, they both go through so many scraps it's awesome.

Oh, THIS is the bird you prepared? πŸ₯Ή so cool!

I would love to try a pheasant. My great grandparents had a large property and they would let hunters hunt pheasants there in exchange for feathers or meat. Sadly, that land was sold out of the family and the whole area has changed a lot. I don’t think pheasants live there anymore.

This sounds so awesome. I'm sorry you don't have it anymore.
