Food for thought: The future of our financial system is uncertain and under threat. The current form is based on an unhealthy credit cycle that makes the economy vulnerable to crises. The banks and investment advisors who flaunt their luxury cars are part of the problem. They benefit from the EU bailout packages funded by taxpayers. We need a fair, hard and sound monetary system, independent of the state and central banks, a genuine capitalism based on trust, investment and innovation rather than debt and speculation.
