Its still moving an electric charge. A moving charge produces a magnetic field. A magnetic field inside another electric field will either attract, repel or produce torque. A weak electric current in a strong fixed magnetic field will meet resistance. If our brains and nerves are electric, we should instantly go into a coma or go into convulsions and arrhythmia when we near the giant magnets. Yes, I know, it's calcium and sodium, etc, etc. It shouldn't matter, it's still moving a charge.
