Review progress on the kernel API has stalled over the past month. Not sure what to do about that. Maybe there are just not enough people that care?

I'm working on replacing consensus with the new kernel api in bitcoin/bitcoin 30595 for floresta. Should have results soon (hopefully).

I think it solves a massive perf bottleneck from consensus.

That is very interesting! Iam suprised you can use this more limited API already. Let me know when you have something to show :)
