I received a lot of fallen leaves to cover the pathway between the raised beds and to absorb rainwater.

However, a neighbor said, “You’re inviting insects. There are a hundred drawbacks and not a single benefit.”

So I added rice bran and soil over the pathway and turned it into a space for making leaf mold.
