that sounds like a horrible experience. image all of your channels residing on other people's phones. as they drop mobile connectivity, all of their channels go down. you try to make a payment and half of your channels are offline. Lightning nodes do need to run on mobile devices to make mobile payments easier, but we also need robust and always online and connected nodes too.
