Now I'm more curious... Why isn't the api also go?
Go still poop at building backends. With Laravel I built it 10x faster than doing it in Go.
Once the tooling gets better but PHP has a 20 year head start
Taking everything in me not to say you are wrong. This is Nostr, and we just make stuff work.

But I've built a few things with gin and a few things with Laravel and to me it's night and day. Laravel is so pleasant to use to me.
We just grabbing data from a db and showing some json, and I have serverless infra, so if I'm just way faster (myself, maybe others are faster in go) I don't see any benefit to using go for the api
This is the way. Doesnt matter whats used if its quick to market, easy to maintain by the maintainer.
