My wife and I hear about family saying they have to drain the ground beef after it’s cooked because there is so much grease in it and we never have to do that yet ours is not dry and has more flavor as well

Some beef has beef "broth" added to it. I think it adds weight and is cheaper than meat. It will turn to water when cooked.

I’ve heard something similar before.
