I disagree with your definition of Patriarchy. I would not say patriarchy is a synonym for fatherhood. I understand Patriarchy to be a system that privileges and centers the experience of men. In that vein I would also say that so much from Euro-centric recorded history prioritises the world view of men because men were educated at higher levels than women consistently—so those that could record their opinions or experiences were overwhelmingly men. Which is to say I’m skeptical of the idea that men “created” things like logic—though logically they we’re probably the first to write it down because of the above ☝️

In my mind these types of versions of history leaves out important context that perpetuates systems that privilege different genders in unreasonable ways.
