If nostr is going to the moon like we think it is, then we're going to have to generate and protect and bequeath our private keys, and our nostr xpub equivalents, as securely as we do our Bitcoin bits. What do you think?

I already keep my key secured by using bunkers and key signing devices/apps. But it needs to get better and easier for the general public.
