Ask Your favorite AI to identify it for you: This chart is from a recent Redfin report published in late May 2025. The report highlights that there are nearly 500,000 more home sellers than buyers in the U.S. housing market, the largest such gap on record since Redfin began tracking the data in 2013.

Excellent! Thank you! 🫡

Never selling! Lol
Took me a second to realize you weren’t talking about Bitcoin buyers and sellers. I read the to level headline, and looked at the graph and started wondering why so many were selling their BTC.
Then realized it was the other business I’m in, building and selling homes. I’m only a small time builder, so I can do a little to rise above the general market by offering a better value product, but the overall trend is still concerning. I don’t want to get stuck with building in areas with plummeting demand.
Have you noticed anything on the ground where you are?
The last one I sold was a higher end home in a smaller town so not the best representation. But some of my investor friends have had entry or mid level homes sitting on the market a lot longer than they were expecting, or having to make more concessions to buyers. So things have been shifting slowly in the last year. But Portland metro is still appreciating 0.4% a year and out where I am is typically a touch better.
