Funny thing is you can't own a jpeg or inscription on btc. It's impossible but that hasn't stopped people from paying a lot of money to buy a Sat. Jpegs/inscriptions are stored on a transaction, not a sat. And no one can own a transaction or send transactions from a wallet to another wallet. Gonna be a LOT of people rekt and a few scammers (udi, eric and btc mag come to mind) making a ton of money off of them.

its not about disproving the concept imo. its about the attention and energy the #plebs are giving to it. those shitheads are feeding off the fear and grow stronger from it.

during the blocksize wars i remember this same bullshit. i couldnt believe how many bitcoiners didnt support lightning network. many are still in denial of lightnings value today. i see the same right now concerning liquid network but peeps are being cynical.

the whole narrative is misdirected to blocking transactions or buying hash power to capitalize on fees ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Dude, just looked at fees for the first time all eeek. 400+ sats. Up like 8-10x over the week

eventually bitcoiners will adjust or be priced out

Depending on utxo count and amounts, I donโ€™t have an issue at all. I paid over $100 to send 5k overseas a few months back via wire. I could send the same on bitcoin for far less, even now.

Glad I melted down my UTXOโ€™s two weeks ago at 35-40 s/vB. Gained the knowledge, downloaded the tools, and found the time to do it just in time thanks to Ben from sessions and Wicked.

I imagine if we see a day where fees are relatively high most of the time, for better or worse, it would also serve to keep more Sats on exchanges for longer periods, and perhaps make it wise for people to have accounts on multiple exchanges?

for me i follow adams lead. exchanges will intergrate liquid and lightning or lose customers because of mainchain fees. bitcoiners who refuse to use lightning and liquid will suffer as well.
