A bunch of 12 essays written by Jung based on what he thought was important around psychology, psychiatry and philosophy at the time.

Most themes are on point and are still relevant today. He comes up with the theory on introversion and extroversion, he touches on Nitchzes idea of “God is dead” and explores the psychological relevance of that. The link between the spiritual world and the scientific, conscious vs unconscious and touches on analysis of dreams.

Very interesting imo.

I recommend that you read the chapter on “modern man’s spiritual problem” in tandem with Will and Ariel Durants chapter on “history and religion”.

Would love to hear if there is a relation between the two themes in those two chapters.
