i love the vibes of places that the culture allows strays and often feed them and neuter them... it was one of my first impressions of Bulgaria, seeing a 3 legged dog stop traffic on a 4 lane intersection on a major road to get across... and the dogs just chill out sitting by the corner of the road near park benches being all quiet and reasonable, amenable to being patted and otherwise just being chill
