The secret trick is to subtly gauge interest with non direct questions. People will show you their interest or lack thereof without you having to deal with resentment due to ignorance.

I find myself more often than not simply mentioning it somehow offhand to see if there’s any interest - I don’t think I’ve ever been successful in actually orange pilling anyone fully yet though 😂
