It’s a central system. Yes. May be they want to make X kid friendly. Most people don’t curse in public physical spaces when they see kids around but generally it’s relative to your personal beliefs of whether or not children should grow up swearing. Frankly, my opinion is kids below 16 have no business being on social media including SnapChat.

Musk is just yet another cantillionaire and there's no way he's gonna be doing anything to displease the people who are running him.
Last thing he would do is acknowledge the fact that social media is a means to brainwash and mind control children to political lobby interests. So he inflicts censorship on the adults in the room.
Not hard to see this isn't gonna make him a lot of money in the long term, but clearly, someone's paying him to keep this charade up.
