Is #Bitcoin influencers on twitter still in denial about nostr?

Will the ones that come to nostr ever delete their twitter account?

How many bitcoiners infuencers are fooled by the precieved reach on twitter based on their follower count?

I have no idea. Since I deleted twitter I can't look into it.

In my own case, qualility of discussion and engagement here on nostr is 10x twitter. It also feels great to reset my social graf and not feed the twitter beast.

I suspect many are still fooled by the twitter algos. How long will a few likes, high follower count's and twitter drama keep them busy?

I don't consider myself any kind of an influencer on twitter but I will be participating in #MarchOffTwitter and staying away for the entire upcoming month.

That said, I will not be deleting my twitter account anytime soon as I relish in the idea of using big tech against itself so use it to broadcast my love of nostr & my npub.

I see many take this stand, and seek to leverage twitter reach to promote nostr. Godspeed to you and everyone doing this. Hope it work.

I don't believe it matter much, like bitcoin they will come when done shitcoining.

In my own case I was heavily shadow banned, and my follower count stagnated at 820 as if it was capped. Hahaha so I could not reach many anyway. Got really tired of the exessive social engineering on twitter so I just left.

I get that. Twitter is brutal and you're right, they'll eventually end up here when fed up with the fiat centralized crap. I'm heavily shadowbanned there as well even with a few more followers than that but you're 100% right, quality here is infinitely better and after all it's about the signal not the noise.

I look forward to the day I do shut down my twitter account. I predict it will be sooner rather than later.
