It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Generally think it’s a good idea to do something about TikTok as it’s legitimately a psycho-weapon, but the Gov banning it is an exceedingly slippery slope.
The TikTok ban is moving forward and is set to take place January 19, 2025, so says the 3 Judge Pannel of the Federal Appeals Court in DC.
TikTok could file an emergency appeals to the US Supreme Court.
If this happens, 2 options present itself:
1. They can take the case and delay the ban until they rule, or ...
2. Not take the case as they are not obligated or required to hear it, and it's over for the platform.
Time will tell ...

I've found nothing but great content on TikTok when I went through a rough patch during the plandemic, so I'm vested in a good outcome. It's definitely a slippery slope.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
I’m not qualified to have much of an opinion on it as I don’t use it. I tend toward a much more personal responsibility approach and am for sure against a nanny state approach.
That said, I do see issues with certain types of “apps” potentially being used as tools by hostile actors. Pokémon Go for instance is an intel gathers dream.
I do think NOSTR fixes this because the infinite potential, open nature and decentralized aspects change the incentive structures. But I really don’t know, I’m just one guy in a big world.
Absolutely. 💯% agree with you there. Nostr fixes it all. We're fortunate to be a small part of the solution. 🤜💥🤛
I’m grateful it was a comfort for you during the virus hoax. That was definitely rough time.
