What is the benefit of using cashu ecash instead of lighting? I downloaded the wallet eNuts, it works well and all, but I can't see why use it instead of lightning.

You can view it as a decentralized custodial LN & Cashu wallet. Easily send Cashu to your Nostr circle and ensure your sats are not centralized on one server, in case one goes offline or gets hacked, etc.

Thanks! I'll try to set my own #cashu #mint and see how it works.

I saw that I could register multiple mints at the same time at #eNuts . Are my sats in their custody?
