i had a channel force close with a low fee last night. who knows how long it would have taken to have the close transaction get through the mempool. i manually bumped it. i was going to use zeus to do this, but i didn't see the option? hrm. well either way, we need more tools to help non-technical people be able to do this. 99% of the world will not go to the command line when it comes to managing their lightning node.

It's possible that I didn't look in the correct place? If that's the case, it still should be easier to find, because I'm a technical person and to me, I should have went to channels, pending channels, and found the option there. It was not.

And I am new enough too, still trying to figure out how to both set up to be able to purchase goods or services via Alby wallet (finally got that funded from old Coinbase account), and also how to link non-kyc Mutiny wallet and get that funded. And I would like to merge. Damus acct with my Primal with Alby if can. Basic stuff, I think, or maybe easy pathways not there on purpose to maintain anonymity. Oh man. This all sounds really complicated but it's not. You can sign into Damus and Primal with the same NSEC. You just need to copy and paste the NSEC (Nostr private key) into both apps or import it into Alby to use on Primal web. Mutiny is a bit more complicated but it too bad. You'll just need to send funds to it and a portion of those funds will be used to open a Lightning channel. Make sure you're sending a large payment as your very first payment to Mutiny. The larger the better.
I have signed in both on Damus and Primal with the other acct nsec though the information doesn’t share; eg unable to use Primal wallet sats on Primal, when I am signed in with the Damus or Alby. Is there a way to connect? I can switch between, though they are islands. And for Mutiny, what constitutes large? Thank you for taking the time to explain. 🙏🏻☕️
Do you know of a good series of videos tgat walk through all this but with nice simple explanations of what and why you are doing what you are doing rather tgan simply "do this, do that". I am struggling a little with Zeus but know ill be fine when i get a little more time to play. However, when trying to onboard people, keep just pointing people to WOS as its the only thing newbies have attention for without complaining its too complex. That just end up in more meetings and slower process.
