I don't know who needs to hear it, but there's nothing wrong with having a custodial lightning wallet to send/recieve zaps. Obviously, only keep a reasonable amount of sats on it and refill or withdraw sats to your own node as needed. 🤙👊🍻

I prefer GetAlby because of Wallet Connect integration with Amethyst (which allows for one tap zap). But yes, WoS is great as well!

How can I do that? I somehow cannot tip anyone. Do I need to install something on my phone? I'm able to zap people, using the browser extension on PC but not on my phone using Amethyst 👀

1. Create Getalby wallet ✔️

2. Load sats into it ✔️

3. Set the wallet address in Amethyst ✔️

4. ???

5. Profit

Sure fam, the step you are missing is configuring Wallet Connect on GetAlby and then applying connection settings in Amethyst.

For GetAlby goto https://nwc.getalby.com/

and go through setup.

On Amethyst, long press the ⚡️icon on any note and you will be presented with Wallet Connect configurration menu.
