Suppose they are ~60 years old, god willing reaching ~80+. If you visit them for one major holiday per year, that's at most 20 times you'll hang together before they're gone forever.
Meanwhile you're spending (literally) your time on distractions.
There are so many questions you'll wish you had asked when they're gone. Answers that can't be found anywhere else.
