i moved back to alacritty terminal.. ..it's really simple to config and it doesn't force bold fonts on you like kitty does.. ..i really like how it respects your `fonts.conf` file.. ..plus it seems every bit as "fast" as kitty.. (still looking forward to testing ghostty at some point though)

I dabbled with wezterm (crazy fast and I like lua), but landed back on alacrity.
i've heard of wezterm, but never tried it.. ..what about it made alacritty the better/favorable of the two?
More established with more dotfiles for me to crib from, mostly. But wezterm is gaining.
i don't like any of them because they don't have custom hyperlinks like tilix and the intelij terminal, and the interface of tilix is awful, i keep on losing my configuration, and it takes me at least an hour to figure it out again, because i don't use regex regularly, most of the time my parsing is just "split by comma"
Kitty can do customs. Not sure how it stacks up tho
