It's definitely good. I wouldn't say amazing, but compared to other modern series it's right up there. Definitely feels like significant parts and context were cut to fit it all in 10 eps.
The intricacy of this armour is absolutely incredible.
Pictured here is Hiroyuki Sanada playing “Torunaga” in Shogun - James Clavell’s epic which fictionalised the real period where “Ieyasu” unified Japan and became the Shogun.
Have not watched the show yet, but Sanada is one of the best actors in the world, and certainly one of the best in Japan.
I hope it does justice to the book.
