Back in the day #[0]​ mentioned he kept 10% of his total bag on layer 2 ⚡️

The same reason you don't walk around with all your wealth as cash in your wallet.

Lightning Network is a payment network, not a method of wealth storage. It is still an experiment and nowhere near as secure as BTC. Self-Custody your wealth in BTC on-chain.
