Not as wide, but still plenty imo. Also the top fabric is very flexible.

If it is a qualitity made shoe I don't think is a bad price
You may think so and it depends on life style too. If you are a casual city walker, than it is probably a good choice. But if you are living in my shoes, this just "not" the thing for spending that amount.
