Frankly, most of the closed tools use a ton of open source tools. The entire web does in itself. And yet most people have no idea how any of it works.

During my time in Madeira I had enormously moving conversations with developers with he goal to understand what they are building and why. Gotta be honest: before that it was hard for me as a nontechnical person to fully understand the significance of some of the tools that are announced here on #nostr
But after diving deeper now I understand what significance the open source community has. Not only for bitcoin but for the future of the internet.
