Absolutely. Also drill for mixing of paints, stains and sealers.
My impact driver hangs as a precious implement of honor in the garage.
The drill is used and abused.
Oh yes drills are good at mixing stuff π
Sure, if you want to break small fasteners.
Using a drill with a variable torque output and/or clutch system is very appropriate for many things.
Small impact, just don't press the trigger all the way... You can vary an impact a ton just with trigger play. Plus a lot of impacts are variable too. A little impact is way better for the average home owner than a drill.
That's very true for light duty stuff. I really like my Milwaukee 12V set. More than I need and a wide variety of tools for the same battery family.
I'm a DeWalt guy but I have Milwaukee wrenches. They're very very nice ππ»
My BIL is a big Dewalt guy. I prefer much of their 18V lineup. The 12V Milwaukee stuff is way better than the 12V stuff in my opinionm
DeWalt has the widest variety of tools in their 20v lithium. Everything from automotive wood working to lawn tools. That's why I picked DeWalt. If the only thing I did was automotive, I'd go with Milwaukee. I just wanted one battery system for everything.
I don't tend to care about having more than one battery system per voltage level. If I needed 20V tools, I'd probably buy Dewalt.
