My personal rule of thumb is whatever increases personal liberty is the correct path. Anything that decreases liberty is the wrong path. It really helps clarify things.

Leaving the choice to parents to decide what is best for their family vs letting Bruce Skaug decide for everyone is a no brainer.

I don't think this problem they're trying to solve even exists in my state. This law is really making a statement more than anything. Whether it's appropriate action depends on whether or not you believe the child wanting to gender transition is a victim of abusive influence by adults. I think you would have to evaluate any individual instance for that.

Transgender people are less than 1% of the population. As many real problems and challenges we have and this is what politicians decide is their number 1 priority?

Also another personal rule of mine is if they are screaming we have to do this “for the children” or to “protect” you then it is an immediate red flag.

It’s not to protect you or children. It’s an emotional manipulation to keep you from questioning the motive. If you question it you are a monster who doesn’t want to protect children.
