Because Nostr is not addictive since it does not have dopaminergic algorithms.

And it tends to be used more specifically to publish information that is at risk of censorship, rather than replacing the time needed for other aspects of life, as the internet used to be.

That's also a good point. If we don't have addiction based applications then, sure, it makes sense to see less frequent notes from a lot of people.

Or, in short: It does not algorithmically favor/boost outrage and it thus does not boost the Cluster-B persons and assorted sociopaths that Twitter became infamous for.

Nostr does not, but a app or client might just do that. Imagine Elon Musk mutating Twitter into a nostr app... I am not sure why he would do that but I don't see a reason he could not
