It comes out of nowhere hailed as the holy grail to solve a big issue with no personal effort required.

The side-effects are deeply worrying but seem to be brushed off so easily by media because people "deserve this drug".

I'm baffled by the speed at which people (that i know personally) suddenly get it prescribed. That's not a natural pace of development.

Yeah I was chatting with a cousin whos a doctor and considering it.

Sounds like it’s very popular amongst MDs but I don’t like anything like that basically comes with a forever subscription!

Many doctors get paid directly or otherwise incentivised to push the drug. It's the same playbook as Oxycodon used.

I recommend watching the Netflix documentary on it named 'Painkiller'.

I don’t doubt that. But this wasn’t doctors pushing the drug but all taking it.
