Here's some working in a kitchen 101 for you. On a slow night, never say the phrase, "man, if it continues like this, we might be able to get out of here at a reasonable time" or any variation therein.

Not even ten minutes after my co-worker said this. Five tables all came in, sat down and wanted dinner. 😂 Needless to say, we're not going to be getting out of here early.

Tgats the worst. Those late comers 15 minutes before close ughhhhhhh i hated those hahah

We had about an hour before it close when they walked in, so it's not the end of the world, but still annoying. Especially when it's been dead for like three hours.
