Indeed this article does elaborate upon your argument and I do agree with the majority of his points

At one point he brings up how CBDC's will bring alot of suffering, pain, and discomfort.

That I would also highly agree with but I'm not sure if the pain is enough to get people to move out. Sure for some but not most.

I think for alot of people it would take getting to rock bottom to realize they need to get out of the fiat debt based monetary system. And at that point switching to bitcoin could by near impossible.

Central banks and the people closest too the printer are going to do anything and everything to kill bitcoin. They will attack the exchanges and Coinswaps as well as "unhosted wallets" They will attempt to tax energy usage. They have already started creating false narratives in order to implement draconian policies. And while those policies are not yet in place many institutions are already implementing those rules so they are deemed "compliant".

All of this is too say while I do believe that overall in the grand scheme of things CBDC's will be their own undoing. I also think it's too much to hope for to just let them run the course.

We as Bitcoiners need to bring the fight to the FED we need to spread awareness and education to the normies about the #Bitcoin protocol and the difference between custodial wallets and self hosted. We need to go to the streets and protest. we need to stand up for the ones who can't yet see the way out yet.

Otherwise it's my belief that it may be too late by the time CBDC's die. If Bitcoin is co-opted at that point then what?

....there is just alot to unpack here.

Couldn't agree more, beautifully put. #takingnotes
