Just update Damus through TestFlight. V1.4.0. Somebody count to 10 and zap me and let me test the local notification function.

Okay this time it notified when i opened Damus. So maybe I misunderstood when notification would happen. Thanks for testing 2nd time #[1] ⚡️♻️🤙🏻
So does it only notify when opening Damus? Is it an IOS notification?
Yes I’m on IOS and Damus “IOS only” I think. I’m not sure when it’s supposed to notify. First time I had the app closed thinking it would notify and got nothing. Assumed I had something set wrong. But when you zapped and I opened Damus to see who zapped me, I got the Damus notification that I was zapped.
I’m also Damus on IOS and I just tried the same as you as my thinking was the same. Damus closed down thinking an IOS notification for Damus saying you have been zapped would appear and nothing. Just received the usual WoS notification. Opening Damus I have not received any further IOS notification.
Actually I had Damus open looking at the time you zapped. So I dunno lol.
