I like that Cashu mints don't know about each other. Only users know about different Cashu mints. When you imagine a network of mints, the vertices of that network are the common users.

Similar to #nostr relays not needing to know about each other. There is no ‘federation’, just a standardized protocol with hard limitations.

Yes. They trust at their own discretion because they have unilateral exit capability.
