It’s on my list of places. Is it ‘expensive’ because things are priced in euros?

I'm not 100% sure about the expensiveness. But i think many store owners price in Euro or USD to avoid the exchange rate volatility. My Turkish colleague told me the living cost in Istanbul has been rising a lot in recent years, but somehow still cheaper than big cities of Germany and France.
Prices put aside, it is so beautiful, foods' delicious, people, cats and dogs being nice and chill, definitely worthy of a visit!!!

Awesome. How long have you been there or will be there for?
