At the moment, yes. Honestly, if it wasn't for Bitcoin, we'd likely be thinking about relocation.

Being in Alberta definitely makes things a bit more bearable. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in the country.

My sister moved to Ontario. Their taxes are much higher, and so is the rest of her cost of living.

While I do enjoy seeing the province growing, I hope that Alberta being thought of as Canada's Texas helps keep the wrong people out. There's too much potential here to have it wasted.
