Get in. Find your IRL people. Form IRL community. Keep your mouth shut about it. You aren't going to change your local world by shouting to the larger world.

Build and change your local culture. Don't worry so much about what everyone else is doing.

If your thing works, they'll come to you and clone/adapt your model for their community.

Yes, 👆this! Don’t try to change the existing broken system from within the broken system. Build a better, parallel system. When people see that it’s superior to the broken system they’re stuck in, they’ll ask to join you. Think homeschool. Think local farms/food. Decentralize your life from the centralized system. 🤙

What made me think of this was someone reposting Jack Dorsey saying, " 'social media' is following the same patterns as 'legacy media'. What's next?"

My thought was, that's a very big thing and not what I'm really here for in the first place. It may serve me, but that's really my only interest.
