Overall the “tap to stack” NFC bitcoin lightning was successful as an ice breaker, however, it did face some challenges. It never worked properly with Phoenix wallet (no clue why) and my CLN node was pretty slow at making payments — sometimes failing to deliver to Blink wallet (channel issue, perhaps?)
If I do this experiment again, I might opt to use QR codes instead of NFC - it’s simply cheaper and easier for everyone. But NFC was a fun experiment!
