I use Joplin. It has a lot of options for synchronization protocols (I use WebDAV to my Nextcloud) and is just a bunch of .MD files under the hood.

I use Joplin for markdown too.

Do either of you use the sync function? It doesnt seem to consistently export/import. Desktop doesnt match mobile. Or lags severely.

I used to run a server on Umbrel. That synced, but when my node died, it stopped and I haven't started it again.

I just realized I didnt give delete access. Hopefully that fixes it. I do like the app so far.

Thanks never heard of it. Will check it out.
