Hot take: ordinal disrespectoooors are spooks.

They modify their node client to discriminate against Bitcoin transactions, ideologically motivate others to do the same.

Freedom of transactions is freedom of transactions even when you don’t like what others transact.

Otherwise, it’s a slippery slope that only leads to your government telling you what kind of transactions you should filter. Today it’s jpegs, tomorrow it’s CoinJoins and multisigs.

A not so hot take by yet another spam apologist.

What if I told you there is no "freedom of transactions" in Bitcoin. The network has always "censored" tx. Why can't I make a100 byte op_return tx? Why can't I make a 5 MB tx? Why am I being "censored"?

Bitcoin clients can alter their config settings and still follow consensus rules. Every node runner can make his/her own choices. There's nothing wrong with that, and that's not censorship.

We are having these discussions because the scaling problem has yet to be addressed.
