I’m old enough to remember when it was crazy to believe that an asteroid or comet brought about the end of the dinosaurs.

If you accept that it is highly likely that a comet brought about an end to the last ice age in a sudden global catastrophe and deluge and then you read ancient history and myths through that lens, you find all sorts of connections that make much more sense.
