This demonstration of Galileo's law of falling bodies, which posits that in the absence of air resistance all objects fall at the same speed regardless of their mass, was conducted at NASA's Space Power Facility in Ohio. The theory has also seen a noteworthy demonstration in 1971 when astronaut David Scott replicated the experiment on the moon.
