Replying to Avatar Vdub

First attempt at building a solar node. Using a #lilygo T Beam S3 core. Solar panels wired in series.(Cardboard mount for testing purposes).

Tested voltage this morning and I’m getting 3.4-4.2 volts so I’m assuming that should be enough to charge a single 18650 battery.

Still trying to figure out if I should configure it as a router or repeater? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. #meshtastic #lora #offgridcomms

Nice work.

I think you're going to want some simple voltage regulation/distribution circuitry. Kirchhoff's Laws apply. Maybe try asking here?

Oh thanks! Will do. I’m very new to electronics, soldering, and Meshtastic but definitely been learning a lot.
