Unfortunately, I've interacted with a bunch of people, including outside the internet, who think BTC is also connected to FTX. The shitcoins have probably slowed BTC for quite a bit.

Yep! But this could just be there first exposure. I thought Bitcoin was a scam when I bought the top in 2017 and lost all my money selling at the bottom. We get to 2020 and Covid funny money comes around and I want out of the system, that’s where I went exploring options for inflation hedges and landed on Bitcoin
