You right and to be clear I’m not saying we should keep people out. It’s just that in my experience trying to get my people onboarded it’s the initial cold water plunge into the bitcoin community that is preventing a lot of people from sticking with it.

I’m just saying we should be sensitive to this and other kinds of feedback in order to create a space for normies to try building out their communities and stick around instead of indoctrinating them into the whole freedom! freedom freedom right off the bat…

I agree wholeheartedly here. New people join and a bot tells them to get a lightning address if they don't have one and a dozen other people tell them to setup a lightning address so that they can get zapped. It's not bad, it's just that the enthusiasm is a little bit much for some people. I would rather have bitcoin enthusiasm than no enthusiasm though.

This analogy is hilarious and accurate. I've been to a gay bar with friends and stayed there all night 🥹 I knew what I was getting into beforehand and had a great time.

That's a gay take Gigi

Anyone remember Gaycoin? I think that's what it was called anyway, from the last cycle hype period lol...?

No, how much money did you lose with it?

I'm bag holding till 0.00000001 🤞🤞

Someone should actually make another amethyst shitcoin fork with this instead of Monero 👀👀 lol

The Monero fork was never a fork, it was a copy without proper ways to ever update again 🥲

Oh man. I have onboarding to do. It's time to get fabulous.
