Thing is that was pre-internet and e-commerce.
So not sure that assertion still holds true. But, I get the point.

Something I've noticed, if I'm working a physical job (tiling today) I never snack. Whereas when I'm at the computer being a software engineer I'm always snacking.
I've noticed something similar as well for me.
On office days, I drink a lot of water. When I'm in the field being physical, ive noticed to not drink as much water throughout that day, which is basically the opposite of what I should be doing. 👀
